Pastor Wayne Blackwell is the youngest son of Deacon Floyd and Lillie Blackwell. He is a 1988 graduate of Manning High School.

Pastor Blackwell currently lives in Florence, SC and has recently retired from Spectrum Cable formerly known as Time Warner Cable after 20 years.

Pastor Blackwell is a member of the Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church Manning SC. that is now under the leadership of Pastor Cedric Anderson. He is the former Senior Pastor of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church McBee, SC where he pastored for 18 years, and the former Senior Pastor of Providence Christian Church, Manning, SC.

Pastor Blackwell enjoys swimming, golfing, and playing his PS5, but most of all he loves preaching God’s Word and being a servant to God's people. His favorite Scripture is John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Pastor Blackwell is married to Shanda Roary Blackwell. They have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. He asks that all of you continue to keep him and his family in your prayers as they continue to run this race that is not given to the swift but to the one that will endure to the end.
